Insurance & Access

Ionis Every Step™ will check to see what information your doctor will need to send to support the insurance coverage process for you.

To help with this process, make sure your doctor has your up-to-date insurance information and knows how you're responding to your current treatment, including how many attacks you have been having, how intense they are, and how long they last. Your doctor will send this information with your prescription to Ionis Every Step. Reach out to your Patient Education Manager or Ionis Every Step with any other insurance questions you may have.

Ionis Every Step™ can help— a Case Manager can help you with potential financial assistance options for DAWNZERA. Call 1-844-444-4305,
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM ET, for more information.

Ionis Every Step™ will work with your doctor's office to ask your insurance plan to reconsider their decision. This includes reviewing the denial
letter and collecting documentation from your doctor to submit for review. This is also known as the appeals process. If your doctor is unsure
about submitting an appeal, you can call their office to share why this treatment matters to you. Let them know you're interested in pursuing an
appeal and ask if they're able to help with the process.

Our team at Ionis Every Step™ will work with you and your doctor to understand your new insurance plan’s coverage. Reach out to your Patient Education Manager once you have your new insurance plan information. Ionis Every Step will use your new insurance plan information to check your coverage for DAWNZERA. Don’t worry—our team will work with your doctor to send any additional information to your new insurance plan and reach out with financial assistance options that you may be eligible for if DAWNZERA is not covered.
